Dealing with fallout seems to be something we spend altogether too much time with. I suppose it is a sad state of affairs to admit as much, but here we are. I watched the reposts from AG Barr’s testimony to Congress last night after a long, stressful, demanding day, then when to bed early with a splitting headache, a heavy heart and an absolutely disgusting taste in my mouth.
I AM APPALLED. Again. Please forgive the tone of voice and digital shout but I AM EMBARRASSED TO BE WATCHING THE LEVELS OF DECEIT, CORRUPTION AND OUTRIGHT CRIMINALITY OF OUR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES IN GOVERNMENT.
They are no longer working for the benefit of the American people, they are working for themselves. This must stop. When lies, coverups, excuses, diversions, distractions and misleading falsehoods become normalized, we, those of us who recognize the symptoms of tyranny, fascism and oppression, have an obligation to speak out. I have a suggestion for the Democrats, (who for the sake of transparency, I am still registered as one):
GROW A PAIR.
Have the courage to risk some political politeness and go after the MFers. Do what is right instead of the right political thing. I AM TALKING ABOUT INDICTMENT AND NOT MERELY IMPEACHMENT. These guys have spent the last two years in an absolute frenzy of white supremist strong-arming of every demographic except the one that insures their reimbursement, guarantees their political power and authorizes any means necessary to maintain their privilege: Old rich white guys.
The old rich white guys in the back-alley board-rooms of the military industrial complex (hi Dick), at Big Oil, Big Pharma, the NRA, at Amazon, Microsoft, FB, Twitter and Google. The places where money is Godlike, power the goal and prestige a virtue.
People are dying because of this. People are suffering. People are being put in impossible positions as a result of their (the old rich white guys) devising a game so insidiously complex that 90% of the participants (tax paying citizens) give up, get sick and die humiliating and painful deaths. This is America today. trump and Barr make Bush and Cheney look like girl scouts.
ALL BECAUSE OF GREED.
This felonious immorality must end. Democrats still thinking trump will resign are sadly mistaken, He has no pride and knows no shame. This is what differentiates him from Nixon and Clinton. He is a racist sociopath, a bully and a shameless lying con-man. Damage is being done that will take decades to repair.
ON OUR WATCH.
Unacceptable my friends. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
If we deal with this today, the fallout will be lessened tomorrow.
